As of August 2011

All contributions must be in the form of individuals' personal checks or credit cards. Membership in the PLC is an annual commitment. For a Chapter to name a member of the Council, the Chapter must submit contributions equaling their chapter goal for the year. That goal is determined as:

  • $2,500 from the Chapter Governor
  • $1,000 from the Chapter President
  • $500 from each additional member of the Chapter's Board of Directors
  • $100 from each of the other members of the Chapter not listed above

An additional condition is that, in reaching the chapter's goal, a contribution of at least $100 must come from at least 50% of the chapter's membership as shown in the current year's edition of The NECA Book. Where individual members of a Chapter have joined the PLC, half ($2,500) of each of their $5,000 personal contributions will count toward fulfillment of the Chapter contribution requirement.
