The Office of Federal Contracts Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has made significant and sometimes overwhelming changes to Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Vietnam Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act. Federal contractors and subcontractors now face additional recordkeeping obligations and, for the first time, numeric goals and benchmarks for hiring individuals with disabilities and covered veterans.
